What is Trailer Park After Dark?

Trailer Park After Dark is a subterranean dive bar in San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter themed around the grit and glitter of 1960s–1980s trailer park life. We serve American comfort food, specialty cocktails, and cold beer in a one-of-a-kind underground setting.

Where is Trailer Park After Dark located?

We're at 835 Fifth Ave, Lower Level, in the Gaslamp Quarter of downtown San Diego. Look for the entrance at street level and head downstairs.

What are your hours?

Tuesday and Wednesday 8PM–12:30AM, Thursday 5PM–12:30AM, Friday and Saturday 5PM–2AM. Closed Sunday and Monday.

Do I need a reservation?

Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come, first-served basis. If you want to book a trailer or booth for your group, reservations are available online.

What are the trailers?

We have three vintage-styled trailers themed after the 60s, 70s, and 80s that you can book for private group experiences. Each trailer has its own retro decor, seating, and vibe. Booths are also available for smaller groups.

How do I book a trailer or booth?

You can book directly through our website. A $20 non-refundable booking fee is required at the time of reservation. Each trailer and booth has a food and drink minimum that is separate from the booking fee.

How long do I get with a trailer or booth booking?

Each reservation is 1 hour and 45 minutes.

What kind of food do you serve?

American comfort food — tater tots, mac and cheese, wings, smash burgers, sloppy joe sliders, nachos, tacos, a half-pound hot dog, and our nightly TV dinner special served on a sectioned tray with a jello shot. Tuesday and Wednesday feature a limited menu.

Do you have happy hour?

Yes. Happy hour runs Thursday through Saturday from 5PM to 8PM with discounted wells, craft beer, specialty cocktails, and select food items.

Is there an age requirement?

Yes, Trailer Park After Dark is 21 and over only. Valid ID is required at the door.

Is there a cover charge?

No cover charge to walk in. Trailer and booth bookings have a separate booking fee and food and drink minimum.

Is there parking nearby?

Street parking and paid lots are available throughout the Gaslamp Quarter. We're also accessible by rideshare and the San Diego Trolley.
